Wiggins Tide / Offshore supply ship – Liebherr LT1160 Crane
In 2008
Scope of work:
- Fly technician to Angola
- Inspect crane and advise way forward
- We advised our customer to remove the crane for a strip and quote
- Dosco staff removed the crane from the vessel and loaded onto an abnormal load lowbed.
- Vessel set sail for Walvis Bay
- Crane was transported to Cape Town
- Upon its arrival we proceeded to strip and quote
- In 2009 our customer decided to scrap the crane
- We assembled components, crated it and sent back to Walvis Bay for storage
