Svitzer / MT Indomitable - Salvage Tug
In 2007
Scope of work:
- Remove all hydraulic components including the stores crane and towing pins and transporting to workshop
- Flush all hydraulic lines onboard
- Refurbish stores crane and power pack
- Refurbish towing pins and power pack
- Overhaul all hydraulic pumps and motors This comprised of the following: Sundstrand series 27 pump, Hagglunds motors, Staffa motors, Sundstrand motors, Gear pumps and all valves.
- Redesign and install new bi rotational high pressure filters into closed loop system. This included an electrical installation providing alarms for filter indicators.
- Design and install emergency 24V DC power pack for winch brake
- Load test and certify stores cranes
- Commissioning of all above
