Namco / MV:Kovambo - Diamond mining vessel
From 2001 – 2002
Scope of work:
Petrel Crane:- Flow test Rexroth pump on board Kovambo
- Remove all cylinders, pump and motor, overhaul and test at our workshop and refit on board Kovambo
- Commission system
- Load test and certify
- Remove all hydraulic components from the Norson riser tracks, Norson riser tentioner frame, Norson control panel and power pack. Overhaul and test at our workshop and refit on board Kovambo
- Remove all hydraulic components from the Umbilical winch and Umbilical winch power pack
- Overhaul and test at our workshop and refit on board the Kovambo
- Remove all hydraulic components from the plant hydraulics and plant hydraulic power pack
- Overhaul and test at our workshop and refit on board the Kovambo
- Remove all cylinders from the emergency doors
- Overhaul and test at our workshop and refit on board the Kovambo
- Remove 3 x tugger winches from the Kovambo
- Overhaul and test at our workshop and refit on board the Kovambo
- Repipe tugger winches
- Overhaul and repair on site
- Replace oil and filters
- Flow test on site
- Numerous other hydraulic repairs
- The overhauling of the above equipment comprised of the following: Gearboxes, Volvo motors, cylinders, Calzone motors, winches, Husco valves, Denison valves, Rexroth pumps and motors
- Commissioning of all the above
